Biography
Francis S. Springer is from Meridian, Mississippi. He attended Meridian Community College where he attained his Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. He completed his Bachelor's Degree at Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus in 1996, the same year he became a Deputy Sheriff in Lauderdale County, where he served for 11 years.
While a Deputy Sheriff, Francis gained valuable experience in DUI arrests, felony and misdemeanor crimes, and family issues such as domestic violence. Francis has been certified as operator of the Intoxilyzer 8000, Intoxilyzer 5000, and certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST.) Francis knows the law from both sides.
Francis graduated from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2011. He is admitted to the Mississippi Bar and is licensed to practice in all Mississippi State Courts, the United States District Courts of the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit.
